Mobile Security: Unsecured home networks, personal devices, and public Wi-Fi can compromise corporate data. Tip: Use a VPN and endpoint protection to ensure protection & train employees on the safe remote work practices.

Unpatched Software and Systems: Delaying software updates and security patches makes your systems a target. Cybercriminals often exploit outdated software to gain unauthorized access or deploy ransomware. Tip: Schedule regular software updates & automate patch management to avoid putting your business in harm’s way

Weak or Reused Passwords: If your password is compromised in a breach (but you don't know it yet), changing it periodically can reduce the window of time an attacker has to exploit it. Attackers will often also use one stolen password to try and get into other accounts of the same user. Tip: Make it a policy that passwords must be changed on a set schedule & encourage a unique password to other services your employees may use personally. Pro-tip: Use multi-factor authentication so add another level of security beyond passwords.
