Load and unload orders of building materials onto trucks and maintenance of warehouse and yard areas from Monday to Friday.
The person successful in obtaining this role must:
- Consent to and pass a pre-employment drug test
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship
- Possess current forklift operator certification
- Be able to repeatedly lift and carry heavy building materials (up to 100 pounds or more)
- A desire for physical work (Who needs a gym?)
- A clean and professional personal appearance
- Ability to effectively manage time
- Ability to produce quality work and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to effectively organize
- A comfort level with heights/ladders
- A solid demonstrated focus on safety
- Good communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to successfully work within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
